Handbells

Clinton Anderson is a highly dedicated educator who recently retired after 42 years of teaching choir and handbells within the Seventh-day Adventist education system. His extensive career began with 18 years as an elementary teacher in Bemidji, Minnesota, before he transitioned fully into music instruction. He spent 18 years teaching at Minnetonka Christian Academy and Wisconsin Academy. Mr. Anderson concluded his career teaching music for three final years at Maplewood Academy, following a period of part-time teaching at Campion Academy while also caring for his special needs granddaughter. Throughout his four decades, his guiding passion has been to create music that elevates both the participants and the listeners into a state of worship before God

Strings

Emilie Flores serves as the Choir and Strings Director at Spencerville Adventist Academy. She brings significant performance expertise to her role, holding a Bachelor's in Music Performance from Washington Adventist University and a Master's in Violin Performance from the University of Maryland. As an active member of the New England Youth Orchestra, Mrs. Flores has participated in numerous national and international tours. Beyond the violin, she is proficient on the piano and organ. She is married to Alex Marte, a violinist and alumnus of WAU. Now in her fifth year, Mrs. Flores returns to direct the CCOSDA music festival as the dedicated Strings Clinician. Students especially value working with her due to the infectious passion for music she consistently shares.

Band

Craig Mohr is a distinguished SDA Music Educator and accomplished performer with extensive experience directing bands from the elementary level up to professional ensembles. He holds music degrees from Pacific Union College and American Band College. Mr. Mohr recently retired after directing the band program at Loma Linda Academy, following his tenure as band director at Glendale Academy. He has toured widely across the U.S. and Europe with his ensembles and frequently serves as a clinician for various music festivals nationwide. He deeply enjoys teaching and mentoring young musicians.

Choir

Naomi Fernandez is the dedicated director of the choral program at Campion Academy in Loveland, Colorado. A graduate of Union Adventist University, Mrs. Fernandez brings several years of experience from her previous work in the public school system. She is deeply passionate about singing and thrives on mentoring the talented youth in her program.
